It is with much sadness that I discovered that Clippy is no more. Clippy was introduced into MS Office 97 and was in all later versions and in Office 2003 was not installed as default. Clippy is now no more part of MS Office 2007.
The probabally best remembered and famous piece of Clippy’s advice was once you have written and an address and then Dear, Clippy would pop up and “It looks like you’re writing a letter. Would you like help?”.
How with such helpful advice can Clippy ever be replaced?
