Yesterday had a day off and for some reason or other ended up going to Ikea in Nottingham with Pete, i would say we were in and out of the shop in less than 15 mins, they had sold the unit pete saw there the other day, so in a mad moment desicded to drive up the M1 and go to Ikea Leeds!
All in a days work!
Its been realy nice to see Lee and Katie again, they been staying with us for a few days and they went home last night, not quite sure how Lee does it but always seems to go home with a car full of stuff!
A few weekes ago I dug out of the cupboard my old SLR camera and relised how much i useto enjoy taking pics with it and how much nicer it is than digital, i stoped cuase it was costing me too much to delveop flim and and when realy trying to take some intresting shots end up with so many that are no real use. At least with digital you can just hit delete on the ones you don’t like with out the cost of flim and developing of flim. I have desicded that I want to spend more of my free time taking photos, which will be good for me cuase it will make me slow down and give me something to do that is not using stupid computers! I now also want a Digital SLR, so i’m saving up. I’ve also listing some things on ebay that i realy have no use for or will never use again, things that have been gathering dust around the place, hopfully that will give me some money towards my new camera. I’ll still use flim as theres something satafating about using flim.
I heard from a few people that they can’t find my RSS feeds, they are at http://www.jonothompson.com/atom.xml I’ve just started using RSS feeds and they are fantastic, espically as the new verion of Internet explorer when its comes out has built in RSS feeds. I am currentally using IE 7 beta, i do quite like it however it does look rather like Mozila Firefox!
